June passed by in a blur.  Now it is suddenly the middle of July.  Where did all the time go?

First it went to Culver’s.  I work on average forty hours a week, which is nice.  I truly love the people I work with, the guest I meet and say HELLOOO to, and speak with.  Some days are better than others.  That’s pretty typical at any job.  But I truly enjoy being a True Blue member.  I wouldn’t have worked there for the past six years if I didn’t love it, right?

Second, time slipped away to internships.  I proofread some novels for Shadoe Publishing.  I can’t really say much more than that for the internship, but I love reading new things.  I always look forward to reading new material.  My other internship with 13th and Joan is going well I think.  I call clients, ask them questions that pertain to their book, and write down what they say.  I never would’ve talked to these people if it were not for 13th and Joan, and their outlooks on life are awe inspiring.  I look forward to seeing the final product of their books.  Again, I can’t say much more on that subject, but I enjoy what I have done so far with 13th and Joan.

Third, I have done some small projects for the Tech Bar.  I have captioned a few Youtube videos, which was a new tool I had no prior experience to.  I love learning new tech!

Fourth belongs to the grueling process of job hunting.  I have begun looking at other job sites and reviving my resume.  The task is a little unnerving as I haven’t really ever had to apply for a job in my field yet.  With my campus jobs and the internships I have, I never really had interviews for them.  My Culver’s interview was when I was fourteen, so I cannot really pull on that for experience.  I’m nervous at looking at jobs and unsure of how the whole process works.  I only know what the Career Center has tried to advise me on and other family trying to offer me meaningful advice.  Here’s to hoping I find something before school starts!  That would be a load off the semester…

Fifth has been family time.  When I’m not at Culver’s, reading for Shadoe Publishing, or on calls for 13th and Joan, I hangout with my sisters and parents.  I’ve seen a couple movies so far this summer like Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Incredibles 2, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.  Hopefully soon we will see Ant-Man and the Wasp, because I am eager to watch that.  The first movie was so entertaining!  I have also gone on errands with my little sister, some shopping, and begun teaching her how to knit.  Hopefully she will grow to like it.  We’ve also had waterballoon fights, hatched some chickens, and relaxed in the backyard with a good book.  The summer has been pretty chill so far.

Soon we will be going on actual vacation.  We will spend loads of time in the car where I will read, watch movies, and/or sleep.   It will be a miracle if my dad allows any of us to drive.  We will see.
